Hi, I’m Michiko — or just Michi — a Japanese-born artist living in Australia. My paintings are inspired by the landscapes, textures, and moods I’ve encountered through travel and everyday life — from serene beaches and cascading waterfalls to ancient rock formations and vibrant bushlands.

I’ve lived in Nepal and India, and travelled across many parts of Australia, with each place leaving its mark on my creative journey. Using acrylics, I build layered, textural works that invite you to pause, feel, and connect. My art has found homes through exhibitions, online collections, and markets across the country.
