Greetings,
I'm Michiko (or Michi), a Japanese-born artist with a global flair, having lived in Nepal and India before settling in Australia. With a Diploma in Fine Arts and Ceramics from Noosa, Queensland, and mentorship in palette knife techniques from Saadi Al Murayati, my passion for painting thrives.
Australia has been my home for over a decade, and I find inspiration in its vibrant and constantly changing scenery, as well as its beautiful flora and fauna. While traveling, I have had market stalls at different locations, where I have enjoyed meeting people from all over the world and making new friends.
Currently based in rural Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia, my art studio is a serene retreat surrounded by nature's wonders. Inspired by Australia's landscapes and wildlife, my wetland collection showcase a vibrant array of birds and creatures.
Thanks for stopping by to discover my art and journey!
Warm regards, Michi
